Really happy with the food here! Authentic Sichuan (Szechuan) dishes that aren't overly Americanized/sweet. Standouts were: Sliced Pork Belly In Garlic Sauce (蒜泥白肉), Chongqing Chili Chicken. Good restaurant if you can handle the spice. Great service and decor too. Will def be back to try more stuff

Good authentic Chinese food in SLC. Quality wise I haven't been to a better Chinese restaurant in SLC. It is clean and well decorated inside, and 3 entrees I tried were all great. However, the seats are very tight for tables. Also entrees do not come with rice and you have to order them for extra charge. Bizarre practice.

A chef recommended this place and it did not disappoint! I got a smorgasbord all for myself. The fried rice was perfectly cooked and a large portion I can eat all week. The sesame chicken was so crispy with an addicting flavor. The smashed cucumbers were so good, getting me to eat more veggies. The chicken and green beans were very good but I was very full and only had a few bites. Come check out this special spot for some delicious Chinese food.

I saw this recommended on a food page I follow. I knew my husband and I had to try it immediately. We are snobs when it comes to food Chinese food. We absolutely loved this place. Great and fast service, we came on Saturday evening. Everything was delicious. Definitely would recommend getting the “cucumber salad” on the appetizers, it’s the classic spicy garlic cucumbers. SO good. We also got the 麻婆豆腐 (Spicy tofu), chicken fried rice, 水餃,and their 金盆水煮魚(fresh fish soup under chef special). Everything was so yummy and we can’t wait to come back to eat more. We live about an hour away but definitely worth the drive.

The shredded potato was a bit bitter. I'm not sure if it's because it's got marinated for too long in pepper corn. The shredded pork in garlic sauce was yummy. The cumin flavor lamb was also amazing, just a bit too salty, so you have to eat it with a lot of rice. I was confused why the lamb dish had fries hidden under it. Which was not mentioned in the menu. A little bit confusing. Service was amazing they were attentive when we needed something they were quick to help.

We tried the Green Bean Stir Fried Chicken and the General Tao’s chicken. Both had great flavor and the General Tao’s was the perfect ratio of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside although we may ask them to make it slightly spicier on our next visit. The restaurant and rest rooms were very clean and service was friendly. We were surprised that the menu did not include any combination meals and that they charge extra for rice. The only minor complaint was that they didn’t return my credit card when they brought back our bill.

The beef chow fun noodles were amazing and a reason for a visit to Bei Jing alone! Perhaps the best noodle dish I've ever had in Utah. We also ordered Tofu in House Special Spicy Sauce--which was really tasty and tongue numbing with the use of peppercorns (the leftovers were even better the next day with rice). The fried rice was very good--we ordered chicken. General Tso's was very crispy with a nice combination of sweet and heat on the sauce. Finally, the Chongqing Style Chili Chicken was a new texture we had never had before--very different, but delicious. Construction along 21st South is horrible, but please do this restaurant a favor and visit or order takeout. This is a nice addition to the SugarHouse area. Our family will be back for sure.

Clean and cozy environment with friendly service. We ordered the Spicy Chicken, Braised Pork with Preserved Vegetables, and Sliced Beef & Ox Tongue in Chili Sauce — all of them were fantastic! The spicy chicken was crispy and flavorful, the braised pork was tender and rich without being greasy, and the beef and tongue dish was perfectly seasoned with that authentic Sichuan kick. Highly recommended for anyone craving real Sichuan flavors!
